Fabric is in stock and ready to ship! Extra pieces from the January 2024 club dye lot.

Our hand dyed cross stitch fabric is dyed with care, providing a rich and textured base for your stitching. Dyed on Zweigart base fabrics exclusively unless otherwise noted, and your piece will arrive serged and pressed.

Please note - important color information! Each piece is unique and mottling varies from piece to piece. Due to the variation in fiber content of each base fabric, color differences between linen, aida and evenweave will occur. Lugana and higher count aida fabrics will dye lighter or may shift in slightly in color, especially on dark and rich colors.

Every effort is made to accurately represent the actual color of the fabric, but dye lot differences, variations in materials, and different monitors among other factors may result in color variation.

Sizing Guide

Our fabrics are cut to size before dyeing. Shrinkage occurs during the dyeing process and although the final size may be smaller in inches, the total thread count per cut of fabric remains the same as the original dimensions. Custom sized cuts are not currently available.
  • 1/8 Yard = 13 x 17 inches
  • 1/4 Yard = 17 x 26 inches
  • 1/2 Yard = 26 x 36 inches
  • 1 Yard = 36 x 54 inches (except for Aida 20 count, which measures 36 x 44 inches)

Shipping

Unless specifically noted, all of our inventory is in stock and ready to ship to you immediately - usually on the same or next business day!

Fabric Dimensions

Standard hand dyed cross stitch fabric sizes (pre-dyeing measurements, some shrinkage does occur):

  • Fat Eighth (1/8) Yard = 13 x 17 inches
  • Fat Quarter (1/4) Yard = 17 x 26 inches
  • Fat Half (1/2) Yard = 26 x 36 inches
  • Full Yard = 36 x 54 inches

Colorfastness Information

In general, we recommend to always spot test hand dyed fabric and thread for color bleeding if you plan to wash your completed projects. Hand dyed materials are not guaranteed to be fully colorfast and some residual dye may remain in the fibers.
