Collection: The Color Atlas: Garden

COMING FALL 2026: A permanent collection of thoughtfully developed hand dyed fabric colors by Colour and Cotton, organized into four distinctive "neighborhoods" - Earth, Woodland, Garden and Coast.

A color atlas is a physical or digital collection of standardized color samples arranged in an orderly system to help identify, compare and reproduce colors accurately.

The idea behind this project is inspired by a traditional color atlas - historically, a collection of standardized color samples arranged in a system that relates each color to one another. The most famous examples of color atlases which you might recognize include the Atlas of the Munsell Color System, Werner's Nomenclature of Colours, The Color Harmony Manual, and of course, the Pantone Matching System.

The result is a permanent collection of hand dyed cross stitch fabrics that is both beautiful and genuinely useful for stitchers.
