1290 Sunstone is a very light peach-cream hand dyed cross stitch fabric with a clear orange-peach and apricot cast. It bridges the pale warm neutrals into the clay and sienna side of the Earth palette.

Fabric sizes are approximate and are measured proir to dyeing. We cut our yardage generously and take care during the dyeing process to minimize shrinkage as much as possible.

Each piece of hand dyed fabric is unique and mottling varies from piece to piece. Due to the variation in fiber content of each base fabric, color differences between linen, aida and evenweave will occur. Every effort is made to accurately represent the actual color of the fabric, but dye lot differences, variations in materials, and different monitors among other factors may result in color variation.
About Our Fabric Bases
Choose Your Fabric Base
The fabric base is the undyed linen or evenweave on which each Colour and Cotton Color Atlas shade is dyed. We have expanded our base fabric selection beyond our longtime Zweigart bases to include linens from other respected European mills, giving stitchers more choices in fabric count, texture and feel while allowing us to offer Color Atlas shades more consistently.
- Zweigart: Our classic, long-trusted base, known for its consistent weave, dependable stitch count and familiar feel. Each Zweigart fabric has an iconic orange stripe in the selvage.
- European: A beautifully woven linen with a smooth texture and subtle character that takes our hand dyed colors especially well. It feels exceptionally nice in hand but is still sturdy. Available in 28, 30 and 36 counts.
- Italian: An Italian-milled linen with a slight more rustic and textured feel. Available in 28, 33, 38 and 45 counts.
Because each base has its own fiber, weave and finish, the same Color Atlas dye formula may appear slightly different from one fabric base to another. These natural variations are part of what makes hand dyed fabric unique.
