Job Title: Fabric Finisher
Department: Production
Direct Manager: Owner
Status: Temporary, hourly, part-time; with possible opportunities to transition to longer term employment
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week (negotiable)
Must be available to work in person during normal business hours between Monday through Friday at our studio location in Ballwin, MO
Role Purpose: Supports the production pipeline of Colour and Cotton hand dyed fabric, from material preparation to final product finishing

- Execute production activities as assigned, including but not limited to ironing, folding, labeling and packaging hand dyed cross stitch fabric
- Ensure that high quality standards of products are consistently met
- Flexible schedule and casual dress code
Candidate Requirements
- Works independently with minimal supervision; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Perform tasks with accuracy and precision, ensuring that products are labeled correctly
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a desire to work as part of a team toward common goals
- Agile and flexible to strategize and ensure priorities are always in order – our product production cycles are fast-paced and flexible based on changing needs
- Cut, iron, fold, prepare and package finished goods with accuracy
- Basic mathematical skills and comfort with measuring various dimensions and weights accurately
- Ability to operate small manufacturing machinery following all proper safety precautions, including but not limited to:
- Commercial thread/spool winder
- Commercial rotary iron
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed including mask, gloves, or cut-resistant gloves
Physical Requirements
- Ability to both sit and stand for long periods of time, often for the majority of the work day
- Able to perform repetitive physical tasks, such as bending, handling small materials, reaching above shoulder, reaching outward
- Regularly lift and move lightweight objects up to 10 pounds; sometimes lift and move objects up to 25 pounds; occasionally push/pull items up to 50 pounds
